Please read our advice and bath safely when entering water. The Council formed, shortly after its establishment in 1983, a set of bathing rules that are easy to understand and remember. And they are as effective and important today as they were then.

is an independent, non-profit and volunteer-based organization that collaborates with organizations, associations and individuals who have the same objective – namely reducing the number of drownings in Denmark. Our mission is that it should be safe to move in and around the water, and to strengthen the Danes swimming skills.
